The Library is a warm and welcoming student focused learning environment. Students are able to access the Library on a daily basis before and after school and at lunchtime.

An integral part of the Library is the focus on the school’s educational program and literacy support. Advice and guidance is provided to staff and students regarding the information process which encourages effective search techniques and information usage. Students are supported in becoming independent learners and critical users of ideas and information.

The Library provides a range of print and electronic resources that support both student educational needs and recreational interests. We are particularly proud of the up to date fiction collection which is well used by staff and students.

The Library has a computer lab on the mezzanine level which is booked and used by class groups. The downstairs section of the Library is comprised of two areas: a Reading area providing comfortable seating for relaxed reading sessions and a Research area with tables and chairs enabling students to utilise the non-fiction collection for research.

Year 7 and 8 students visit the library fortnightly in the English classes and participate in activities with the Teacher Librarian to encourage their reading.
