Warwick Senior High School has a tradition of strong and committed leadership within the student body.

Student leaders are role models to the whole school and it is expected they have excellent attendance, behaviour, participation in class and school dress standards.

The Student Council engages in leadership activities in the school and the community. They contribute to the positive tone within the school by providing assistance to and/or organising year group and school events.

The formal leadership structure within the school is as follows:

Year 12

School Captains (two)

Student Council President

Three Student Councillors

Year 11

Four Student Councillors

Year 10

Three Student Councillors

Year 7 to 9

Each year group has 2 student representatives selected per semester. Two of these representatives from each year group are selected to sit on the Student Council during the semester.

House Captains

Two House Captains are appointed to lead each House through the annual Mark Hutchings House Championship. These students must be proactive, high-energy leaders, and be prepared to drive their House forwards, and help organise, set up and run House activities.
