Warwick Senior High School has a Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) who works with students with disabilities and their teachers, parents/carers and support agencies to access the curriculum in a supportive and meaningful manner.
The main roles of the Learning Support Coordinator are to:
- Develop Individual Education Plans (IEP) for students with disabilities and engage with staff to assist with their implementation.
- Meet and communicate with parents/carers and support agencies of students with disabilities and consult them in the implementation of the student’s IEP.
- Work collaboratively with staff to make learning adjustments for students with disabilities.
- Work with students with disabilities to assist them in their learning.
