Congratulations to Alana Dooley (Year 11), Charlotte Mohasi (Year 9), Connel Van Dyk (Year 11) and Jemma Care (Leaver 2018) who were awarded prizes in Donate Life’s Writing for Life 2018 competition. They received their prizes at a ceremony in early August.
Youth from across the state were invited to write a piece of microfiction, to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation. They were asked to step into the minds of someone wait listed on the organ and tissue transplant list, a donor family member or a transplant recipient. DonateLife received 112 entries from 10 schools in the competition and finalists were drawn from the various age categories.

Special mention also goes to Charles Hamilton (Year 11) and Rachel Mann (Leaver 2018) who were named as finalists in the competition.
