Warwick Senior High School raised more than $5000 for Cancer Council Western Australia as part of the Relay For Life Joondalup Wanneroo recently.

Our Warwick Runners ran and walked 729 laps over the 24-hour period. This equates to an amazing 292 km – or further than Margaret River! An amazing effort! We also had two additional teams involved, the Warwick Walkers and the Year 9/10 Warriors. Drenin and Brodie, from our Year 9/10 team, deserve special mention for each walking/running 200 laps of HBF Arena.

We thank all those students and staff members who contributed to their respective team’s efforts, helping to move their baton around the track over the entire 24 hours and raise much needed funds to help reduce the incidence and impact of cancer.
