Brody Represents WA in Melbourne

Year 9 student Brody Pickett recently travelled to Melbourne as one of six Western Australian representatives to attend the National Ministerial Youth Workshop. The WA delegates joined other young people from across Australia to discuss their vision for education and schooling. Brody is seen here pictured with Sue Ellery, MLC.

Awards for Excellence

Warwick SHS students have featured in the recent Best and Fairest awards for football excellence in the Year 8-12 Central and Northern Conferences Competitions.

  • Jayden Peak was presented with the Year 10 Best and Fairest Award for the Central Conference.
  • Hayden Wallace took out the Year 10 Blue Competition Best and Fairest for 2019 in the Northern Conference.
  • Tamaysha Blurton won the Best and Fairest award for the Northern Conference’s Girls Year 9-11 Competition.

State Championship for Jayden

Congratulations to Brazilian Jui Jitsu champion Jayden MacDonald (Year 10). He recently who won silver medals in four categories at the 2019 Australian Jui Jitsu Championships in Melbourne, whilst competing in the Juvenile White Belt Division.

Jayden won Silver in the 76 kg no-gi (kimono), in Open Weight no-gi, in 84 kg gi and in Open Weight gi and is currently State Champion of the Under 17s division. Great rewards for all his hard work and effort in training.
