The Year 7 students embraced STEAM skills in Maths this term by giving group presentations. Each group had a brief which outlined that they had to be as creative as possible and give a 10 minute presentation to their peers about adding fractions. It was up to each group as to how they presented but they were encouraged to play to their strengths, embracing art, music, technology and any other skills which they felt would showcase their talents.

The presentations were of very high quality and included some beautifully animated PowerPoint slides, a video, artistic posters, music, handouts and many of the groups included interaction with the classes they were presenting to.

Some really hard work went into a number of the presentations and the students learnt a great deal from teaching others, as well as learning to work collaboratively.
