Thank you to the Warwick SHS P&C
My sincere thanks must go the school’s P&C committee and the general members. The Executive team of Tamie Nagpal (President), Betty Abau (Vice President), Nix Scaife (Secretary), and Jess Holt (Treasurer) has worked very hard this year to conduct some fund raising for the P&C, to supplement the P&C levy that parents/carers can opt to pay. Conducting the school canteen over the past few years while our student numbers were much smaller, has been very challenging, and processes in the canteen have been streamlined and the menu trimmed to be more economical. My thanks to the canteen staff, Christine Milner (Manager) and Natalie Coley, who work hard to provide good quality food for Warwick SHS students and staff and also the West Coast SESC. I hope to see the P&C membership increase in 2020.
Term 4 ends at 3.00 pm Thursday 19 December, 2019
Parents/Carers: school does not finish for students in Years 7 to 10 until 3.00 pm on Thursday 19 December. Students will be informed via daily notices and year group assemblies that they are “expected to be at school every day, attend every lesson, wear school uniform and must bring their equipment and be prepared to do their work.” We do not stop or wind down the educational program, just because we are approaching the end of the school year.
PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO STAY HOME. Ignore their claims like “we are not doing anything today or this week” as this is very untrue! Their attendance on every school day is crucial to their ongoing success. There will be some end of year events for specific year groups and those with exemplary attendance, but these will not occur till the last week of term. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
