Monday 3 August saw the Hon. Mark McGowan, Premier of Western Australia, the Hon. Sue Ellery MLC, Minister of Education and Jessica Stojkovski MLA, Member for Kingsley, visiting Warwick Senior High School to announce funding to revitalise selected facilities in The Arts.

Warwick Senior High School has been allocated 2 million dollars to refurbish the existing Performing Arts Studio.

This funding is part of the 5.5 billion dollars for the WA Recovery Plan in the wake of the Covid 19 crisis, and is intended to get people back to work by generating public works projects that employ people in local communities. So, while this is exciting news for us as a school community, it is also a big win for Perth’s northern suburbs.
