Netball Challenge Cup Carnival

Well done to all netball students that participated and helped at our annual house netball carnival on Tuesday 22 September. This carnival has an emphasis on fun and inclusiveness. All year groups are mixed up in their houses, playing with and against various age groups.

It is always a great feeling seeing our older netball students mentor and coach the younger students throughout the day. This is something that Warwick students always do well.

Although we emphasize fun, winning is also fun…

The overall winning team today was Kimberley 1. Defeating Stirling 2 in the grand final 17 to 10.

And the game that engages the crowd the most is always the Teacher vs Year 12 students.

Teachers took a comfortable win this year, with MVP definitely going to Mrs Sonia Soltoggio for her agile shuffle shot movement and accurate shooting in GS!

Thank you to Mr Jason Tomlinson, Ms Louise Kirkby, Mr Adam Pesce, Mr Jacob Pelletier, Miss Emily Sainty and Mrs Sonia Soltoggio for coming down for the game!
