‘Outside the Locker Room’ Seminar

Monday 9 March the Senior School football group were fortunate enough to be involved in a seminar conducted by the Outside the Locker Room Association, focusing on removing the stigma attached to acknowledging and speaking about mental health issues. The seminar was conducted by ex-AFL player Jake Edwards and Australian Football Hall of Fame member Robert Dipierdomenico. Both gentleman spoke about their battle with mental health issues and ways in which members of the group can assist others in dealing with mental health issues.

The session culminated in the group signing a board providing a commitment to make themselves available to talk with anyone dealing with mental health issues.
