Literacy and Numeracy Week Fun!

From September 2 to 6, 2019 Warwick SHS will be running all sorts of fun competitions and quizzes to celebrate Literacy and Numeracy Week.

You may be interested in:

  • Writing a six word story about your favourite teacher.
  • Completing a quiz on Literature.
  • Participating in the spelling competitions for Years 7-9 and Years 10-12.
  • Having a go at the Digital Literacy activities and see how digitally literate you really are!
  • Joining in with the Numeracy Mintie Wrapper, Shape-O-Ball and Jigsaw competitions!

If you wish to be part of the spelling competition, register your interest by placing your name and year group in the box in the library.

There are loads of fantastic canteen vouchers and cinema tickets to be won!!!

Literacy & Numeracy Poster Winners

Students recently had the opportunity to design a poster to promote National Literacy and Numeracy Week 2019. There were many great designs submitted and the best posters won movie tickets to Warwick Grand Cinemas and school canteen vouchers. Well done to all the students who took part! Winners are listed below:

Year 7 to 9 Division

Year 10-12 Division
