Back in March the Year 9 and 10 cohorts were given a fire safety talk by Peter Jones and Mark Hayes from the Department of Fire and Emergency Services. They spoke about the powers that the Department has to investigate fires, and the dangers of and consequences for lighting fires.

They also mentioned the $50,000 reward that could be paid for providing information about arsonists; students listened very attentively! This talk was arranged as Warwick SHS is in a fire risk area.
