Nineteen students from the School’s Creating the Dream and Follow the Dream programs participated in a cultural workshop at Yanchep National Park today.
Students worked with Elder Uncle Noel; Jason Barrow from Kurongkurl Katitjin, Edith Cowan University (ECU); and Bec Garlett and Jason Boundry. Throughout the day students worked to improve their Noongar language skills and had the opportunity to learn more about Cultural practices.
Many thanks to Tina Deegan and her team from the Follow the Dream Outreach program for coordinating this excursion. It was a great day, enjoyed by all!
