Are you eligible for the $350 Secondary Assistance Scheme?

To be eligible to claim for the Secondary Assistance Scheme you must hold one of the following cards:

  • Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card
  • Centrelink Family Health Care Card
  • Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card (blue card only)

* These cards must be current in the first term of 2020

The allowance consists of two components:

  • $115 Clothing Allowance paid directly to parent/guardian or the school.
  • $235 Educational Program Allowance paid directly to the school.

Application is made by the parent or guardian for students enrolled in Years 7 to 12 at a secondary school or by a student who has been declared Independent by Centrelink (e.g. living away from home) and holds their own Health Care Card.  A letter from Centrelink confirming independent status must accompany the application form.

Application forms are available from the school front office and applications will close on Thursday 9 April 2020.

2020 Contributions and Charges are now Payable

To allow the school to provide all students with optimal educational outcomes, we encourage all parents/carers to make every effort to pay the Contributions and Charges.

These funds go directly to the Learning Areas to subsidise resources and equipment for the use of students.

Payments can be made by cash/EFTPOS or Cheque/Money Order made payable to Warwick Senior High School.

Are you experiencing Financial Difficulties?

The school is sympathetic to families suffering financial hardship.  If your family is experiencing financial difficulties please contact Mrs Christine Lott, school Finance Officer, on 6240 4400 to arrange a payment plan.

Contributions and charges may be paid off at as little as $10 per week.
