|Design and Technology offers courses for both boys and girls that utilise the Technology Process as the core learning experience for all subjects. This enables students to produce quality projects using current technology and methods.
Courses are designed to give students individual access to modern equipment in a setting that encourages the development of safe working practices. Students also develop skills in order to manipulate a variety of tools and equipment.
A range of subjects is offered from Year 8 to 12 commencing with the introduction of the Technology Process in Year 8. Students in Year 9 and 10 can choose subjects including;
Year 11 and 12 students can select from the following courses including:
- Metalwork and
- Industrial Workshop.
Whilst the emphasis is on students developing problem solving skills and expertise in using the Technology Process, the skills and associated knowledge learnt can also be successfully used in further education, trade qualifications, industry related career choices or as general interest hobbies or business.

- Certificate 11 in Construction,
- Certificate 11 in Visual arts - Furniture
- Certificate 11 in Metals and Engineering.
