Specialist Netball Program

Warwick SHS is one of only 4 schools in the state to offer students an opportunity to participate in the rigorous and comprehensive study of netball through Netball WA and the Department of Education endorsed Specialist Netball Program.

The program aims to facilitate the growth of netball in Western Australia with the development of elite players, coaches and umpires. Warwick SHS’s Specialist Netball Program boasts excellent results both academically and in the wider netball community and is committed to maintaining the highest standards and practices. We are proud to have helped many athletes, umpires and coaches move through the netball pathways to the elite levels.

Students participating in the Specialist Netball Program receive:

  • 4 hour minimum of netball practice and study per week
  • Access to experienced and Advanced Level coaching staff
  • Access to coaches currently involved in selecting and coaching at Regional and State levels
  • Netball Australia Athlete, Umpire and Coach curriculum
  • Formal coaching and umpiring qualifications
  • Access to state of the art facilities and West Coast Fever representative coaches.
  • Opportunities to participate in specialised carnival and state, interstate and international tours.
