“We acknowledge and appreciate the importance of technology
in the lives of young people…”
While we acknowledge and appreciate the importance of technology in the lives of young people today, and while we recognise that technology plays a big role in students’ learning, mobile phones must, however, be switched OFF and be OUT OF SIGHT during lessons.
If a student is found using a mobile phone during any lesson, it will be confiscated by the classroom teacher. The confiscated phone then needs to be collected from the classroom teacher or the Associate Principal at the end of the school day.
The same policy applies to the use of iPods and MP3s.
Please note: No liability will be accepted by the school for lost or stolen items.
